In the Beginning, God

In the very first verse of the Bible, we find the cornerstone of all existence:
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1

This simple yet profound statement lays the foundation for everything we believe. It tells us that before time began, before light pierced darkness, before matter took form—God was. He is not a part of creation; He is the Creator. He is not shaped by history; He authors it.

For believers, this truth changes everything. It means our lives are not random. Our purpose is not self-made. Everything begins with God—our identity, our work, our calling, and our future.
